kathleen rushtonTomorrow is the first Sunday in Lent, and Dr Kathleen Rushton SM, will join us at our 10.00am Service of Worship, to introduce us to the Season of Lent and to set the scene for our journey towards Easter. First, we shall ponder this gospel using a very ancient art, practised at one time by all Christians, known as lectio divina. Then, we shall rediscover Lent through exploring its origins, links with baptism and as preparation for the joy of Easter. We will conclude by exploring the meaning of the three interwoven Lenten practices of prayer, fasting and almsgiving for us today.

Join us in the Hall at the Knox Centre at 10.00am, and then in the lounge afterwards for a more informal gathering over a cup of tea or coffee.
