PARISH ADMINISTRATION:

Given the Parish Office is now based at the Upper Riccarton Methodist Church, corner of Brake St and Yaldhurst Road, Parish Council has approved the employment of the Hornby Riccarton Office Administrator, Sue Chappell – for 5 hours weekly to deal specifically with some of the administration assistance required for the Parish and Presbyter. These hours will be added on to the work Sue does already for the Hornby Riccarton Methodist Parish. Sue will prepare the weekly bulletin and order of service, receive messages for the Presbyter, and other such important work in the running of the weekly life of the congregation. If you have notices for the bulletin, could you please send these through to Sue by email, phone the Parish Office, ph. 348 9260, Fax: 348 9560, and/or send mail to the Presbyter and Parish at PO Box 6347, Riccarton, Christchurch 8442. There are future plans to bring in another phone line for Durham St Church purposes. We are very grateful to Sue for agreeing to this increase in her work hours.

And an invitation:

Dear Durham Street parishioners
If you are passing the office please call in and say hello. I look forward to meeting you all – Kind Regards Sue
